I'm beginning to hate sports, every team I root for has lost lately. First the Flames lose to the Canucks on Saturday, 3-1. They haven't looked too good their last few games, plus they lost their best goalie to an injury. Then on Sunday, the Seahawks lost a nailbiter to the Packers in overtime on an interception. It was a good game but I felt bad for Hasselbeck. After winning the coin toss going into overtime, he chose to receive the ball, adding "and we're gonna score!". Unfortunately, his prediction never came to pass. Oh well, better luck next year guys. And today, at the World Juniors Hockey Championships, it was the USA against Canada. We were up 3-1 in the third period, but the US faught back to tie it. Marc-Andre Fleury [Canada's goalie] then tried to clear the puck, but it bounced off his own player right back into the net! What a way to lose the tournament. Maybe I should bet against the teams I cheer for, like Pete Rose.
OK, the Flames are up 5-0 over the Rangers in the third, so I guess there's still hope for them. ;)
